It’s funny how a “crazy idea” can come out of nowhere.
There I was. Stuck. Waiting for my chance to move forward in what must’ve been the biggest traffic jam I’ve ever seen. Thanks to a sharp turn and an overturned peanut butter truck, all I could do was sit and wait for I-20 to clear up.
“This is ridiculous,” I thought. “I had big plans to accomplish today.” And, believe me. Inching along in this traffic jam wasn’t one of them. Shout out to every pup that found herself at a sudden stand still and endured this unexpected curveball of a journey with me.
Since it looked like I was going to be here awhile, I decided to make the best out of this sudden downtime and called my BFF, Ginger. No answer. So, I tried Kai and Cynn. Still, no answer. Bay was in the middle of a meeting, so he couldn’t be on the phone right now. “Am I the only one enduring this massive delay on I-20,” I thought. “What’s the point of having bark-tooth technology if you can’t use it in moments like this?”
So, I continued inching along on my I-20 journey. By this time at least I-20 was moving. Moving was slow, but at least I was moving forward. And then, out of nowhere, there it was. The sign I’d been looking for.
“WAGMANS SUPERMARKET OPENING FEBRUARY 8, 2021.”
Me and my BFFs have been planning to check out the new Wagmans Market for months. We just didn’t know when the market was actually opening. In the words of H. Jackson Brown, Jr…
Don’t waste time waiting for inspiration. Begin, and inspiration will find you.
Little did I know that that one sign was going to be the beginning of yet another “crazy idea.” Ironically, if I hadn’t gotten stuck in this I-20 traffic jam, this new “crazy idea” of mine might’ve never come my way. Everything happens for a reason. Cliché. I know. But, it’s true. I’d also love to hear from you.
What has inspired the beginning of your “crazy idea?”
Now, let’s dish about new beginnings. The beginning of my newest “crazy idea” is waiting for you right in your inbox. Luckily, I learned very early on in my business ownership journey to always trust my gut.
