Quick tip. Add at least one of these pupcake flavors to your next open house menu. Poppy did, and it worked beautifully.
Poppy is a journalist turned real estate investor. We’ve known each other since we were puppies and grew up together on the same block. Poppy launched his blog Popsperity to chronicle his journey in real estate investing. Now, his blog has expanded into offering events, open houses, and pup real estate classes.
One of my favorite events is Poppy’s open house series, THE DOG HOUSE, which he uses to showcase different properties for sale in the area. The goal of these series to not only showcase the properties that are available for pups to purchase, but to educate pups on the purchasing process.
THE DOG HOUSE involves more than just a tour of the property itself. Poppy gives pups a tour of the neighborhood, invites real estate pup-fressionals to provide training on purchasing a property, and collaborates with businesses in the area to give them an opportunity to showcase their products and services.
Poppy asked me to bake a few pupcakes for the kickoff event.
He wanted to serve something that made pups feel at home the minute they walked in the door. So, I decided to go with these Cinnamon Roll Pupcakes. However, rather than baking them at Pupcake Sugar, I baked them right in the house for the kickoff event. This way the cinnamon aroma lingered in the house.
Cinnamon creates the sense of nostalgia, warmth, and comfort, which is exactly the mood we want to set for THE DOG HOUSE. One of the pups even stated that…
These pupcakes smell like love.
These pupcakes were definitely a hit. So much so, that Poppy asked me to bake a few pupcakes for each of his events this spring.
Not only were these Cinnamon Roll Pupcakes a good way for Poppy to treat the pups that came to the event, but it was also a good way for Pupcake Sugar to advertise. Two pup businesses collaborating and supporting one another is something I’m always down for.
So, if you’re looking to include a few pupcakes for your next open house, start with these three flavors from the Pupcake Sugar Pages. They’re really easy to bake and make great muffins if you don’t have time to add the frosting.
AN APPLE A BAY PUPCAKES
The perfect combination of apple, oatmeal, and peanut butter.
BEANEVOLENCE PUPCAKES
It’s all about the banana mixed with spinach.
POPPY’S JOURNEY PUPCAKES
Add a little green to your pupcakes with this recipe. These pupcakes are all about the zucchini.
These pupcakes are great because they’re easy to bake and make great muffins if you don’t have time to add the frosting. However, I’d love to hear from you.
