There’s power in our thoughts. It’s the most powerful tool you have to make that first step we talked about last week.
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought…”
Not to get all dog philosophical on you, but it’s true. I’m living proof. Seriously, every time I thought I could easily make my way out of a blanket I did. It’s those times when I questioned my thoughts that I got stuck and had trouble finding my way out. That’s when mom has to come to the rescue.
Anyway, the other night was movie night. It’s just a time for mom and me to snuggle up on the couch and bond.
So there I was, sitting in mom’s lap, watching The Secret Life of Pets, and munching this tasty 5-Minute Pupcorn.
This entire movie shows exactly what the power of thought can do. For instance, when Norman the guinea pig finally found his way home, and Max (who could only doggie paddle) made his way onto a ferry, or even the fact that Snowball managed to “drive” a bus? And let’s not forget how Tiberius fought his killer instinct and realized that he really had what it takes to a best friend in Gidget.
Cool right! We all have the power to create what we want by believing we can achieve it.
We believe that every pupcake has a story and there’s a perfect one for each occasion. So, we’d love to hear your pupcake story…
What do you believe you can achieve? Will there be 5-Minute Stove Top Pupcorn involved?
Please share your pupcake story in the box below.
Ingredients
For 5 Minute Pupcorn
- ½ Cup Popcorn Kernels
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
Instructions
Yields: 8 – 10 Servings (about 10 to 12 Popped Popcorns per Serving)
For Pupcorn
- Pour olive oil into a heavy 3-quart or larger pan with a lid
- Place 3 – 4 kernels in the oil, cover pan, and turn heat on medium high. When the first kernel pops, immediately add the remaining kernels.
- Shake pan gently over the heat with lid slightly ajar to allow steam to escape.
- When popping slows to 2 – 3 seconds apart, remove pan from heat, and carefully pour into a large bowl.
- Serve your pup based on serving size. Please make sure to get rid of those kernels that aren’t fully popped as they can be harmful for your pup.
Notes
- Make sure to get rid of those kernels that aren’t fully popped as they can be harmful for your pup.
- This recipe is for a fun treat ONLY. It should not replace your dog’s regular meals. Please consult with your vet on the best plan for your dog’s diet.
