5 Ways to Use Carob For Pupcakes

Ways to Use Carob for Pupcakes

I’m all about carob pupcakes.

Especially, during this time of the year.  There are carob hearts, carob truffles, and even carob covered peanut butter made to melt in your mouth, not your paw.

So, I was trying to pick a recipe to get this Pupcake Sugar carob party started, but had a tough time deciding what to add to the menu.  There are so many different ways to use carob for pupcakes.

FROSTING

Carob frosting is usually my first choice.  Add a little carob powder to peanut butter and you’ve got your own carob peanut butter cream flavor.  It also brings back puppy memories of me licking the bowl.

FILL’R UP

There’s nothing like a carob filled surprise when you bite into your pupcake.  Making the carob filling may mean that your pupcakes take a little longer to be done, but it’s worth it.

PUPCAKES ON DECK

Let’s keep it simple with the pupcake itself.  You can dress it up or dress it down, but at the end of the day it’s still amazing.  It’s almost like that little black dress hanging in your closet.  No matter what occasion you need it for, carob still works.

A LITTLE COOKIE CRUMBLE

Add some carob cookie crumble to the top of your pupcakes.  It’s always a nice quick add if you want to add a little extra oomph to your pupcake.  Plus, you can play with the size of the cookie crumbs.  Do you want big crumbs that stand out?  Or, small crumbs for a little decoration?  The choice is yours.

CHIPS, PLEASE

Last, but not least, are the carob chips.  They’re an amazing add to a pupcake recipe.  If you’re a carob lover, add them to your carob pupcakes for a double dose of carob.  Or, you can add them to a plain pupcake to give you the carob chip goodness.

See.  There are lots of ways to use carob with your pupcakes.  And, there probably a million more ways that I haven’t listed.  However, this assortment gave me my next “crazy idea.”  In the words of Ray Bradbury…

Life is trying things to see if they work.

I decided to create a Pupcake Love Box.  Think of it like your own pupcake assortment box with different carob inspired pupcakes for those carob loving pups out there.  Plus, it gave me the chance to try out a few new things, and figure out what worked for my Pupcake Sugar menu.

In fact, there was one pupcake recipe that stood out from all the rest.  Let’s dish. The recipe is sitting in your inbox.  Looking for more carob inspirations?  Subscribe to the newsletter

I’d love to hear from you.
