The positive. The silver lining. The glass as half full. Focusing on the good will keep your emotional budget balanced.
Not to be confused with our financial budgets, our emotional budgets are just as important if not more. While our financial budgets help us manage our money, our emotional budgets help us manage our feelings. Our feelings are the catalyst for how we attack our day and maintain our positive energy. In the words of Abraham Hicks…
“When you focus on the good, the good gets betters.”
That’s why it’s important for you to do whatever’s necessary to focus on the good things that are happening to you right now. It’s all about perspective. The more good you pour into your emotional budget, the better you’ll feel each and everyday. If you can focus on the positive in any situation, things will always work out in your favor.
For instance, there have been a few times where my curiosity has landed me in time out. Instead of focusing on the fact that I’m isolated for a few minutes by my lonesome, I choose to focus on the fact that I have time to plot my next adventure. Focusing on that makes those timeouts a lot shorter and definitely keeps my emotional budget in tact.
These Carob Chip Pupcakes With Carob Frosting are dedicated to focusing on the good in ourselves and everyone around us.
We also believe that every pupcake has a love story. So, while your favorite pup is PUPPY LOVIN’ on these pupcakes, we’d love to hear from you.
