Let’s dish about money mantras in the new year.
The way I see it. You can’t dish about money mantras without adding a few pupcakes in the mix. When you own a pupcakery, it’s important to be open to trying new pupcake flavors.
Sure, Pupcake Sugar has its fan favorites. However, every now and then I like to add a new pupcake flavor to the menu. Whether it’s a seasonal selection, a special occasion, or even because it’s a day that ends in ”y,” it’s good to add a little variety to spice things up a bit.
So, when my BFF Ginger approached me about hosting a pup financial wellness workshop at Pupcake Sugar, her timing was perfect. Ginger is a financial wellness coach. Her passion is helping pups invest and grow their wealth. She also creates and sells her own pup spa products as a side-hustle.
She’s hosted several financial wellness events at Pupcake Sugar, however this time she wanted to focus on investing.
So, I used this as an opportunity to test out a few new pupcake flavors I’d been working on.
I figured combing a financial wellness workshop with a pupcake taste testing would be the perfect way for pups to bark finances. Plus, it would give me the advantage to see how pups responded to the pupcakes in a relaxed environment.
During the event, I served three new flavors. Each one of the jeweled inspired pupcakes were even linked to an investment inspired theme.
There was The Ruby, which is dedicated to building a nest egg. The Amethyst is all about developing and maintaining emotional budgets. And, The Emerald represented long-term investing strategies. I honestly can’t wait for you all to experience these new pupcake flavors and their stories. In fact, if I had to choose, that’s the one takeaway from Ginger’s workshop that’ll stick with me.
Invest in experiences.
I’ve always been a fan of stories, which always comes from a new experience or the chance to relive a memorable one. So, why not align my finances to something that brings me joy. Stories. In fact, I’m making it my money mantra for the new year.
This mantra will definitely guide my financial decisions and serves as a roadmap to reach my financial goals. And, there are a ton of money mantras out there. So, let’s dish about them.
