Sugar Steals A Private Moment For Herself

Blueberry Muffin Pupcake recipe for the dog you love to spoil

You’re never too old to play a game of Hide & Seek.

At least that’s how I see it.  Every now and then I decide to play a game or two with Mom, Grandma or pretty much any human (or pup) in the house.  Ok.  Not really.  Hide & Seek is really an excuse.  Not an excuse to find cool and secret places to hide.  And, certainly not an excuse for anyone to really find me.

Hide & Seek is an excuse to steal a private moment for myself.

Believe me.  There all sorts of places I go to get a little privacy.  Some days, I’ll hide in Mom’s closet right next to the clothes hamper.  Other days, I find solace in hiding underneath the couch.  And once humans (and pups) catch on to those hiding places, I have no problem finding another one.

It doesn’t matter where I choose to hide.  All that matters is that I get a few minutes to myself to be alone with my private thoughts, feelings and emotions.  I get a chance to reflect and make a little room for myself.  And, most importantly, no one is bothering me.  I get to keep a little piece of me…for myself.

Now, some humans (or pups) may wonder what do I do in these private moments I have to myself.  Do I take a nap?  Do I try to unravel some new toy?  Do I plot on how I’m going to swipe a pupcake?  Well…I’m not telling.  In fact, I remember hearing Mom say…

“If you didn’t post it on social media then it didn’t happen. Or, did it?” Share on X

Honestly, that’s the world we live in and I’m not mad at it at all.  We can share our lives with people all around the world with one tap of a button.  We can spark ideas, positive change and discussion from anywhere.

But what about our private moments?  The moments that we only share with our close friends and families?  Or, even the ones that we simply keep for ourselves and no one else?  The private moments that aren’t necessarily a secret.  But, they’re just…well…. nobody’s business.

These private moments are the times where we can revel in who we are inside.  They’re the moments that ultimately humble us and give us the freedom to reflect without any risk of judgement.  They will always add to our mystery, intrigue or allure.  They might not define us completely, but our private moments are simply ours to enjoy.

So, while you may not play Hide & Seek underneath your Mom’s couch, I do encourage you to steal some private moments for yourself.  Do anything you want with them.  Those private moments are yours to hold on to for a lifetime.

These Blueberry Muffin Pupcakes are dedicated to the beauty of those private moments.

And of course, we believe that every pupcake has a love story.  So, while your favorite pup is PUPPY LOVIN’ on these pupcakes, we’d love to hear from you.

Where do you go to steal a private moment for yourself?
