Sugar Tries To Determine Her Next BIG Move While Indulging In These Sweet Cake Pupcakes

Sugar's Sweet Cake Pupcakes With Peanut Butter Frosting dog treat recipe

What’s your next step?

It’s a question I ask myself several times a day.  Do I eat or take a nap?  Play with my ball or slipper?  Bark or stay silent?  Oh, the joys of being a pup.  Every day is full of decisions of “what do I do next?”

For instance, Mom and I were sitting in the living room on the couch about a week ago.  She sat on one side of the couch tapping away on her laptop.  I was curled up on my blanket on the other side of the couch mellowing down for my morning nap.

By the way, morning naps are one of my favorites.  They’re the perfect finale to a nice brisk morning walk and a delicious breakfast.  Anyway, back to the story.

The house was completely quiet.  My eyes started to get heavier and heavier.  I was just about to drift off to sleep when all of a sudden, I heard a loud crumbling noise followed by huge scraping sound.

My eyes immediately popped open, and I sat straight up on the couch.  Unsure of what to do next, I remained still and watched closely in the direction I heard the sound.  After a few seconds, I heard the loud sound again.  This time, however, it was significantly louder.

In situations like this, it can be hard to determine what I should do next.  For all I know, the sound could be the Pupcake Monster coming to take all of my pupcake wealth away.  If that’s the case, I certainly have to act accordingly.  So, whenever I’m faced with a big decision of what I should do next, I’ve learned to…

Be still...and let the answer reveal itself.

Life often brings moments where we have to determine our next step.  Whether it’s a big step, little step or somewhere in between, life is full of “what should I do next?” moments.  It’s what makes life’s journey adventurous.

However, I’d be lying if I said that “What should I do next?” question can be absolutely scary during a time of transition.  Those moments when you’re entering a new phase in your life are exciting, but can make some of us nervous if we don’t exactly know what we should do.  Especially, if we’re worried about whether we’ll make the right decision.  These are the moments where it’s better to just, BE STILL.

Now, being still doesn’t mean sit back and do nothing.  Especially for those major steps.  Being still means that you do all the research that you can.  Gain as much knowledge about a situation.  Prepare yourself physically, emotionally and mentally for the next phase in your life.  Try as hard as you can to be comfortable with not knowing.  Sooner, rather than later, the answer will be as clear as the Caribbean Sea.

As for the sound I heard, I decided to attack after about the third time I heard it.  I leaped off the couch and raced straight in the direction of the sound.  Whatever was making that sound was not going to take over my house or interrupt my nap again.

It turns out it was nothing but a bag filled with trash falling on the floor.  No real harm and no Pupcake Monster.  So, after Mom picked up the fallen trash, I could get back to my beloved morning nap.

These Sweet Cake Pupcakes With Peanut Butter Frosting are dedicated to the sweetness of being still.

And of course, we believe that every pupcake has a love story.  So, while your favorite pup is PUPPY LOVIN’ on these pupcakes, we’d love to hear from you.
