I once read an article entitled How to Win Your Day…Every Day.
We’ve all come across those articles. Ten Steps to be a Healthier You. Five Ways to Be More Organized. The One Thing Every Successful Pup Business Owner Does to Make Them a Success and Why You Should Too. While these articles make sense in theory, sometimes they just don’t fit into my little pup world.
When I came across this article, I automatically wanted to read it. As busy as my schedule is, of course I want to make sure that I’m winning my day every day. In fact, the article stated how your morning routine really sets the tone for your day. So, if you want to “win your day,” the key is winning your morning routine.
I was on board until the article suggested that I work out in the morning. I actually scoffed at the idea. It’s not that I would have to wake up an hour earlier. Or, that I’d have to revise my own routine. It wasn’t even the idea of working out at all.
It was because my mornings have always been dedicated to creative thinking and brainstorming. The mornings are when my mind is fresher. So, squeezing an exercise schedule into the time frame when my pup brain works best would not work at all.
Honestly, when I first started my pup business ownership journey, I used to come across a lot of articles like this. Used to think that if my routine didn’t align with some of these “successful pup business owners” then I was doing something wrong. And, if I was seeing the same article in Nose, Paw Print and, yes, even Scent then these rules were pup law.
I thought the only way to be successful was to follow every rule that every “pup expert” told me too. It often made me doubt myself and my capabilities if I couldn’t get my routine to match what these pup experts were saying.
It wasn’t until I saw a quote from Pablo Picasso until I was able to change my pup perspective.
Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist.
And suddenly, it hit me. These supposed rules to success aren’t rules at all. They are suggestions; mere bullet points; simple guides to help you craft a pup business owner success handbook for your own. It was creating a life that works for me and owning my own way.
Now, back to that article. I decided that working out in the evening actually worked much better for me. It gives me the time to create in the morning. Also, working out in the evening gives me the chance to let go of all of those stressors I may face during the day.
I also started to notice that working out in the evening helps me get a lot more done in a shorter time frame. I even sleep better when I finally do get in the bed, which means I wake up more refreshed thereby winning my own mornings.
So, these Evening Fruit Cup Pupcakes are dedicated to creating your own way to win your mornings and building your own success plan.
And of course, we believe that every pupcake has a love story. So, while your favorite pup is PUPPY LOVIN’ on these pupcakes, we’d love to hear from you.
