Who’s ready for the Waggies?
I’m definitely ready. However, this year I’m not watching on PupTube. I’m actually going to be there. I have my outfit all picked out and my acceptance bark ready to go. You know. Just in case I actually win.
The Wellington Academy is an association for pup business owners and pups that work in the business community. Any pup, and I do mean any pup, that works in business is allowed to join.
The annual awards ceremony, better known as the Waggies, is an invitation only event and it’s broadcast on YapTube. To say that I’m excited to go is definitely an understatement. My dreams are finally coming to pup life. It’s true what they say…
If you can dream it, you can do it.
In the past, I’d host my own Waggies watch parties. Honestly, I think throwing these parties played a part in making my Waggies dream come true. And, I bet you can guess one thing that I always had on the menu. Pupcakes, of course.
So, to all my Waggies party hosts and hostesses out there, here are the perfect pupcakes to add to your watch party menu.
BANANA BLUEBERRY MINI BUNDT PUPCAKES
Try these pupcakes when a pup’s acceptance bark gets a little too long winded. It’s amazing to me how they refuse to hear that music blaring in the background signaling for them to move it along. I mean, really. We don’t have all night. Some pups gotta get home before our humans realize we’re gone.
SWEET POTATO BLUEBERRY PUPCAKES WITH COCONUT CREAM FROSTING
Take a sampling of these pupcakes while you cheer along for the underdog. As a “crazy idea” enthusiast, I’ve always been a fan of those pups that make it despite what anyone else thinks. It’s those pups that believe in themselves and keep pushing that always inspires me.
BLUEBERRY PEAR OATMEAL MUFFIN PUPCAKES
Anytime a pup can’t get that envelop open, try these pupcakes. They may be there for a minute. Honestly, it may be time for the Waggies to get a new way to announce the winner. It’s pretty hard to open an envelope with paws.
BLUEBERRY PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE PUPCAKES
There’s always that one pup that mis-times the step and takes a little stumble. So, indulge in these pupcakes on that one or two occasions that a pup trips up the steps. Take a bonus one if that pup plays it off like it never happened.
Pupcakes are all about capturing the moment. That’s why I’m definitely sneaking one of my pupcakes into the award show in my clutch. I don’t think anyone will really notice. However, I’d love to hear from you.
What’s your favorite award show moment?
Please share in the box below. And, during those commercial breaks I need to keep myself entertained. So, if you’re hosting your own Waggies watch party (or any other watch party), don’t be shy. Show me your cakes. Tag me @pupcakesugar on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or all three. I’d love to see how your pupcakes turned out.
