There’s nothing more exciting than the site of my mom walking in the house with grocery bags. Every few weeks, Mom strolls in carrying several of these bags in each hand. No matter what size they are…

Each one smells of ingredients specifically for yummy pupcakes.

I try my hardest to take a sneak peak, but Mom usually puts them away before I can get to them. If you haven’t guessed by now, pupcakes are more like my investment portfolio. I’m always willing to diversify my portfolio, and each one adds a little bit of growth.

My wealth is measured in two things: PUPPY LOVE & PUPCAKES.

See, wealth is measured by what matters to us most. It’s what we hold near and dear. It’s what makes us feel rich in spirit. In a nutshell, PUPPY LOVE & PUPCAKES are what makes us wealthy beyond measure.    I also believe in sharing my wealth. There’s enough to go around. So, this week we’re celebrating the beauty of sharing wealth with, of course, pupcakes.

These Taco Cups are the perfect way to celebrate your wealth.

Ingredients

Taco Cups

  • ½ Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 3 Tablespoons Water
  • 2 ¼ Teaspoons Olive Oil

Instructions

Yields: 4 Mini Taco Cups

For Taco Cups

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, water, and olive oil. Stir until you have a soft dough.              Knead dough and divide into 4 portions
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion of dough into a circle.
  4. Turn a 12-cup 1.75-inch mini-muffin tin upside down. Place 1 portion of dough in the space between 4 cups to form a “bowl.” Repeat again with the remaining 3 portions.
  5. Bake for 12 – 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove taco cups from the tin and fill with your pup’s favorite taco toppings.
  6. These taco cups were filled with ground turkey, brown rice, cheddar cheese, black beans, carrots, and spinach. However, feel free to fill your taco cups with your pup’s favorite puppy safe taco toppings. Some suggestions for taco toppings are chicken, ground beef, shredded cheese, beans (we used black beans), kale, lettuce, zucchini, bell peppers, and broccoli.
  7. You don’t have to add any seasoning to any of these toppings. Just make sure they’re cooked.

Notes

  • Make sure all of your toppings are cooked and done based on the recommended standards before serving anything to your pup.
  • This recipe is for a fun treat ONLY. It should not replace your dog’s regular meals. Please consult with your vet on the best plan for your dog’s diet.
