This month’s pupcake recipe is all about keeping it spicy. One thing I love about baking pupcakes is the aroma that fills the kitchen when they’re baking in the oven. So, this month we’re giving a double dose of pupcake aroma therapy with these Cinnamon Vanilla Pupcakes.
WHY WE LOVE THESE PUPCAKES
The aroma from these Cinnamon Vanilla Pupcakes is amazing. The cinnamon aroma is warm with a hint of “smells like my mama’s kitchen during the holidays.” The vanilla aroma is soft with a splash of “once I’m in, I’m not going back out.” The two scents together are the perfect addition to cozy vibes on a fall night while snuggling on the couch under a blanket in your favorite socks with the dog you love.
WHEN TO BAKE THESE PUPCAKES
As the weather gets cooler, Sugar loves to snuggle in my lap on her favorite cable knit blanket. These Cinnamon Vanilla Pupcakes are great to bake when you’re planning a snuggly night in with the dog you love. And since they smell amazing, they’re perfect for a little aroma therapy.
BAKING BARKFIRMATION
“Following my nose always leads me in the right direction.” Baking is not just about the finished pupcake. It’s about the experience. Baking gives you the chance to use all five of your senses, including smell. The smell of ingredients baking in the oven is always lets you know what to do next. As many dogs know, following a scent or letting your nose lead the way is all about trusting your instincts. So, baking is a life lesson for us to do the same thing. Trust the process. Follow your nose. It’ll always lead you to an experience.
