2. BE CURIOUS enough to interact with your environment

Believe me. Every savvy pup knows that reading and being curious will always give you the advantage. Let’s face it. We pups are born curious. Why do you think we’re constantly sniffing around? It’s because of our curiosity, of course. And, as the Latvian Proverb says…

While using our nose to follow our curiosity comes second nature to us pups, reading books does not. We’re much better at reading emotions. Our Emotional Intelligence comes second to none, which is why we recognize those opportunities right away. How do you think we know the precise time to tilt our head to the side for a little sympathy?

For humans, reading books, stories, articles, and even blog posts like this one have scientifically been proven to boost their Emotional Intelligence. And that Emotional Intelligence gives you an advantage. It helps you recognize opportunities others might miss. You can even read out loud to us pups. Trust me, we’ll listen.

Ingredients

Mango Blueberry Muffin Pupcakes

• ½ Cup Whole Wheat Flour
• 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
• ¼ Cup Olive Oil
• 1 Tablespoon Pure Honey
• ¼ Cup Coconut Milk
• 2 Tablespoons Blueberries
• 2 Tablespoons Mango
• 1 Egg

Instructions

Yields: 12 Mini Muffin Pupcakes

For Mango Blueberry Muffin Pupcakes

1. Preheat oven to 350° Line 12 1.75-inch mini-muffin pan with paper bake cups and set aside.
2. In small bowl mix together flour and baking powder. Set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl add olive oil, honey, coconut milk, and egg. Beat on medium speed about 2 minutes or until combined.
4. Add dry ingredients into the mixture and blend for approximately 2 minutes until well mixed.
5. Add blueberries into mixture.
6. Fill each cupcake liner with 1 tablespoon of pupcake mix and add mangos to the top of the mixture.
7. Bake pupcakes for 12 minutes. Pupcakes are done when you can stick a toothpick into the cake and it comes out clean. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
