I never thought I’d be blogging about baking pupcakes. And I certainly never thought I’d turn my pupcake recipes into stories inspired by toy poodle, Sugar. But, here we are. Baking pupcakes and creating new stores one recipe at a time. Through every recipe I’ve found a new way to express my creativity and Sugar’s gotten a new way to expand her taste buds.

“FOCUS ON THE FROSTING.” Sugar manages to be a cute nose away whenever I’m baking in the kitchen. She doesn’t make a sound. She just waits patiently. Sometimes she pretends she’s napping in her bed. But, as soon as I start frosting her pupcakes, Sugar’s eyes light up, she starts barking, and jumping with excitement. Her happiness and excitement are infectious. It’s funny how focusing on a simple thing like frosting can bring so much joy.
