There isn’t a pup alive who’d deny it. And if you’re not going to leave your cheeseburger on a chair, at least on the low slide me one of those hot dogs under the table. It’ll be our little secret.

These Turkey Cheeseburger Pupcake Bites are perfect for any pup catching some sun at a cookout.

Ingredients

Turkey Cheeseburger Pupcake Bites

  • ½ Cup Ground Turkey Burger
  • 8 Cheddar Cheese Cubes
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 8 Baby Spinach Leaves (Optional)
  • 8 Small Slices Red Bell Pepper (Optional)

Instructions

Yields: 8 Turkey Cheeseburger Pupcake Bites

For Turkey Cheeseburger Pupcake Bites

  1. Preheat griddle to 350° F.
  2. Separate ground turkey burger into 8 mini burger patties. Each patty should consist of approximately 1 tablespoon of ground turkey burger.
  3. Spread 1 tablespoon of olive oil on griddle. Cook burger patties on one side for 7 minutes. Once patties have cooked for 7 minutes, flip to the other side and cook for another 7 minutes.
  4. Turkey cheeseburger pupcake bites are done when meat temperature is 165°.   Make sure meat is brown all the way through.
  5. Once done, cool and place one cheese cube on top. Use a toothpick to hold turkey cheeseburger pupcake bites in place until ready to serve.
  6. I also added a few pieces of spinach leaves and a red bell pepper for garnish. (Optional)

Notes

  • Turkey cheeseburger pupcake bites are done when meat temperature is 165°.   Make sure meat is brown all the way through.
  • This recipe is for a fun treat ONLY. It should not replace your dog’s regular meals. Please consult with your vet on the best plan for your dog’s diet.
