3 Ways Sugar & I Turning Fall into a Celebration

Fall Celebration

‘Tis the season to celebrate your dog.  In fact, every season is the season to celebrate the dog you love.  Honestly, when we celebrate our dogs, we also celebrate ourselves.  Think about it.  The way we love, care, and spoil our fur babies, usually matches how we treat ourselves.  So, this post is all about celebration.  Here are three ways I’m celebrating Sugar this fall.

BAKING WITH SOUL

In my house, it’s sweet potato season.  No offense to love the pumpkin, but I’d prefer my mama’s sweet potato pie.  And while we’re at it, let’s bring in the mac & cheese.  Seriously, I learned that when you cook or bake, love is the main ingredient.  That love is the magic ingredient in any celebration.  So, this fall we’re celebrating by giving some of my favorite soul food dishes a pupcake twist.

CREATING A FEW STORIES

Every pupcake has a story.  And at Pupcake Sugar, we love writing those stories down.  Writing down your dog’s adventures or daily shenanigans is a great form of self-care.  It gives you another way to practice gratitude, joy, and creativity.  So, this fall I’m celebrating all of real life pupcake shenanigans and turning them into illustrated stories.

STEPPING OUT

Every time we do something new, we get to celebrate our growth.  We get to celebrate the experience.  And, usually, I get to celebrate the new pupcake recipe I came up with from my experience.  So, this fall Sugar and I are stepping out and taking our pupcakes on our own little staycation.  It’ll give us a chance to relax and explore the sites close to home.

When we celebrate our dogs, we celebrate ourselves.  It’s the gift that keeps on giving.  So, we’d love to hear how you celebrate your dog.  Share your celebration stories with us @pupcakesugar.
